Every now and then I see someone “in real life” who mentions these meditations to me. Yesterday I was elated to hear my friend Ti talk about how these techniques helped him “get over the hump” while playing a tennis match in the 100 degree heat.

Good morning!

Yesterday I had the wonderful experience of teaching a yoga class to a group of people at a corporate meeting. Most of them were new to yoga; as mentioned in the video, I was amazed by how many comments I got about how good it felt to BREATHE. People were talking to me about this all day.

A meditation class (of course appropriate to every body) or a mindfulness session is a great activity at a meeting. Other than the tangible benefits, it also builds team camaraderie. Reach out to me if this seems intriguing.

I think a consistent loving kindness meditation helps!

Related: it’s Juneteenth. If we are genuine about practicing loving kindness for all beings, then we know and respect that this is a cause for commemoration.
