Yearning For Joy And Connection
Where were you when the Artemis II crew splashed down safely in the Pacific Ocean? My hunch is that most of you can answer that question. I was in a brewpub in Annapolis (for you locals: Chessie's Wharf). It was a beautiful spring Friday evening, meaning the place was crowded with the after-work crowd and young families. Their one television was dialed in to the coverage of this event, but most people were only casually glancing at the screen. UNTIL. Until the countdown clock

Finding Joy and Walking with Monks
Finding Joy....and Walking With Monks I recently spent time in the Dominican Republic and, as a follow up to that trip, I had this newsletter ready to send last week. Pomalo!
Off the coast of Montenegro; October, 2025 I recently returned from 2+ weeks in Croatia and Montenegro. WOW, what a trip! These are stunningly beautiful countries on the Adriatic Sea and the people are wonderful and welcoming. We basked in the sun, saw interesting sites, ate great food, and just had a fantastic time together. I wrote in my last newsletter about community and connection and I am convinced there is no better way to build community than to travel with a group. B
